Hepburn Township Volunteer Fire Company members spent another weekend training to get another step closer to putting Ladder 15 into service. Members sat through a lecture on Saturday, April 2 at Hepburn Township Vol Fire Company. On Sunday April 3, members went to the MAMA Training Grounds and worked on positioning the truck and putting the ladder to a window for a rescue situation. The class then moved to Hepburn Lycoming Elementary School to work on scenarios there. Members put ground ladders to the roof and placed the aerial to the roof. Members used both sources of ladders to get to the roof. Last, the class moved to Fairlawn Community Church where members put the aerial to its roof and got a feel for the outlay of the church.

Members have now completed Truck I Operations, Truck II Operations, E-One's 8 hour Training, and Aerial Apparatus Practices. HTVFC plans on also completing Rope/High Angle I and Rope/High Angle II Rescue.
